The main reasons and treatment methods for poor lubrication of rock drills
1. The viscosity of the lubricating oil is too high or too low:
① Select the appropriate brand of lubricating oil according to the ambient temperature on site: YT28 rock drill can use L-AN22#~46# mechanical oil when the ambient temperature is -10°~30°C. Users can use mechanical oil with a higher grade when the temperature is high and a lower grade when the temperature is low according to the ambient temperature of the construction site. However, it is best not to use grease (butter) to avoid clogging the machine channel, blocking the gas flow, causing poor lubrication of the machine head and air legs, and reducing the efficiency of the machine and accelerating the wear of parts.
2 There are debris or too much water in the lubricating oil:
① Cover and seal the container containing lubricating oil to prevent dirt from entering. Filter out dirt and water before use.
3. The air holes in the oiler and rock drill are blocked:
① Clean the oiler and the air holes in the machine to ensure that the air path is unobstructed.
4. Improper adjustment of oil injection amount:
① According to the oil content discharged from the exhaust port (put your hand on the exhaust port for 2-3 seconds and then leave, observe that there are a few oil spots on the gas sprayed on your hand or your hand feels smooth), adjust the oiler switch appropriately.
